Sydney Tango Collective is a warm, young, and energetic tango community led by Mona & Mo, two experienced dancers deeply passionate about social Argentine tango and growing a vibrant, welcoming tango scene in Sydney.

At STC, tango isn’t about perfection or performing for others. It’s about people meeting people, building friendships, laughing, learning, and slowly falling in love with this extraordinary dance.

We guide dancers from their very first tango steps through to advanced social dancing, preparing them for a life full of milongas, travel, connection, and fun. Our classes are supported by a young, friendly team who assist, partner, and help newcomers feel welcome and progress faster through a personalised, human approach.

Sydney Tango Collective is actively involved in the wider tango community through group classes, workshops, private lessons, and regular social tango events, including collaborations with local, interstate, and international dancers and teachers.

Mona and Mo regularly travel internationally, dancing, DJing at tango events, training, and immersing themselves in multicultural tango communities around the world. Everything they learn comes back home to Sydney, straight onto the dance floor and into the classroom.
