Sophia de Lautour, founder and principal instructor, has taught tango and hosted tango events for almost 25 years. A national tango champion, she has taught thousands of students, some of whom have become tango instructors themselves. Her highly experienced co-teacher Paul ‘Pablito’ Warren has been immersed in tango for 24 years. In addition to teaching and hosting milongas and festivals with internationally renowned teachers, Pablito brings his creative expertise as a cameraman, filmmaker, and instructor in the film industry.

Maxi & Ayse Workshop Fees

Workshop Pricing per person:

  • 1 workshop: $60
  • 2 workshops: $110 ($55 per workshop)
  • 3 workshops: $150 ($50 per workshop)
  • 4 workshops: $180 ($45 per workshop)
  • 5 workshops: $200 ($40 per workshop)
  • 6 workshops: $210 ($35 per workshop)

Maxi & Ayse Private Lesson Fees

One Teacher (either Maxi or Ayse)

  •  One lesson per one student/couple: AUD185 
  • Three lesson package per one student/couple: AUD475
Additional fees also charged for hiring any dance venue (estimated at around AUD25-AUD30 per hour).

Two Teachers (Maxi & Ayse)

  •  One lesson per one student/couple: AUD300 
  • Three lesson package per one student/couple: AUD800
