With an outstanding line-up of international artists, the Perth Tango Festival – Autumn Edition offers a week immersed in Argentine tango, set on the edge of the Indian Ocean in one of Australia’s most distinctive cultural cities.
We are delighted to welcome to Australia for the first time the expressive Argentine vocalist Marisol Martínez with the acclaimed Hyperion Ensemble, alongside maestros Gabriel Ponce & Analía Morales direct from Argentina. They are joined by Noelia Hurtado, making her Perth debut, and the much-loved Melbourne duo Fabio Robles & Michelle Di Monte.
Held in autumn, the festival enjoys mild days and cool evenings — ideal for long milongas, focused workshops, and exploring Perth between events.
The programme balances depth and atmosphere: elegant gala milongas in heritage venues with live music, relaxed fringe milongas, an outdoor picnic milonga in Kings Park, and a Jack & Jill competition open to all levels. International guest DJs and live orchestras anchor the musical heart of the week.
Beyond the dance floor, visitors can explore Rottnest Island, relax on Perth’s beaches, or travel south to the Margaret River wine region.
