Workshop 5: Dynamics in Turns✨
Develop confident, musical turns that feel grounded, smooth, and expressive. We will study the giro milonguero in close embrace, explore a melodic giro that breathes with the phrase, and learn to manage centrifugal force so rotation stays stable and comfortable for both partners. The focus is on translating musical ideas into clear body preparation, timing, and shared balance that work on a social floor.

• Melodic variations: suspensions, soft accents, and breath in the phrase
• Managing centrifugal force: projection, collection, and elastic tone
• Leader and follower responsibilities for stability and comfort

**Intermediate level suits dancers with more than six months of regular tango experience. You can maintain a comfortable embrace, walk with control in close and open hold, pivot with balance, combine basic vocabulary like ochos, crosses, rebounds and simple turns, and keep good floorcraft in a busy ronda. You are ready to refine technique and musicality while learning longer, more dynamic combinations.
