A Little Buenos Aires (ALBA) is a vibrant hub for learning and enjoying Argentine Tango music and dance. Founded in 2000 by Mimi and Teddy, it is one of Sydney’s most established tango schools and event organisers.

As accredited “Il Master para Maestros de Tango” by the Escuela Argentina de Tango in Buenos Aires, Mimi and Teddy are accomplished instructors who have dedicated decades to their craft. They have collaborated with international Maestros and Maestras and are celebrated for their focus on musicality and individuality in their teaching. Their rare and extensive collection of tango music is a highlight of their Milongas (social dance events), bringing a touch of Buenos Aires to Sydney, Australia.

A Little Buenos Aires provides tango workshops, and private lessons for all skill levels—from absolute beginners to advanced dancers mastering intricate choreography. Each class is tailored to support individual growth and abilities, ensuring a rewarding experience for every student.

The school is renowned for its traditional Milongas, signature social nights filled with elegance, warmth, and exceptional music.
